Lets talk about my brother
My brothers name is Andrew Curci and he is 19 months younger than me. We have been together since he was born. We did everything together, from playing video games, playing basketball to even sharing a bed.
Now before you assume the reason why we shared a bed, it wasn’t because we were poor and we only had one. It was because we just spent a lot of time together and we talked all night. Sometimes we just play our Game Boy’s trading Pokémon and challenging each other to Mario kart.
We have done a lot together and have been through alot together. From our parents separation to each others hardships at school. He even helped me meet my wife. We have been through good and bad and now i’m going to share some stories with you.
Since we were kids we have loved playing video games and we played a lot of video games. The funny thing was when we were playing single player games, Andrew would always take the control and i would always help direct him. I would do this to help direct him and point things out that he might have missed or help him solve puzzles that he was stuck on. One of the things he didn’t like doing was the water temples in The Legend of Zelda. For a long time he would just give me the controller and say ‘let me know when you are done’, i always found this funny. He has however finished those levels but it was always a funny moment when he was coming up to these stages that he would just ask me to do it for him.
My brother also has been very accident prone…actually i wouldn’t say ‘accident’ but he puts himself in very interesting situations. We had an old fridge when we were kids and inside the fridge we had a bar up the top that would occasionally get ice on it. Well my brother decided that it would be a great idea to see what that tastes like so he licked it and of course his tongue got stuck. We tried everything to get him off from turning it off to pouring warm water on it to get it unstuck. In the end it wasn’t until he decided that is was a good idea to bit though his tongue and rip it off. Lucky his tongue was numb and he didn’t feel it.
That there is my brother…he is not only my brother but my best friend. We have been through a lot and i would trade any of our time together for anything. Even the time he pushed me off the boat in our driveway and i got a concussion and didn’t remember that day.
